Susan joined the Buck Home design team after ten years of experience in interior design, antiques and fine art. Her career has taken her from Massachusetts, working at Leonards New England, to Key West, FL. An expert space planner, Susan's work has been featured in Fine Living Lancaster magazine. Her dynamic design aesthetic reflects updated traditional, transitional and soft contemporary.

Karen Hershman, Allied Member ASID, Interior Designer

Karen began her career in interior design in 1984 and has worked for a number of prominent retailers, includingThe Fine Furniture Gallery at Doneckers.  Her work was featured in Judy Sheridan’s book, “How to Work With an Interior Designer,” and in Philadelphia Magazine, which included her design for the 2005 Manna Showhouse.  Karen’s aesthetic draws from her European heritage, highlighting timeless classic designs that range from traditional to modern.

David Lyall, IDS, Owner/Interior Designer

Design team leader and company president, David has 25 years of experience in the furniture and interior design field. His extensive work in both residential and large commercial projects includes executive offices, churches, funeral homes and restaurant interiors. David is the three-time recipient of Best Decorated Single Family Home, including the coveted Fulton Award, in the Parade of Homes. He was voted Best Interior Designer by the readers of Lancaster County Magazine in 2006, 2007 and 2008. David's award winning designs are a regular feature of Fine Living Lancaster magazine.
